About

After a certain point, an organization does better by taking a look at it's existing infrastructure, practices and patterns. Best practices are constantly changing as the technologies we employ do. If you're adopting new technologies without also adopting modern approaches to working with them, then there's almost no point to staying current with technology at all. And too often that's the case, where inefficient datacenters are lifted up and crambed inefficiently into the cloud, CI / CD platforms are upgraded and then used identically to how the prior tool was done. It's a modernization facade that in the end winds up costing more and failing to deliver the promised value. The same thing happens with project management frameworks. It's one thing to adapt a process to align with your individual talents, but more often I see modern methodologies "adapted" to be functionally equivalent to the way it's always been done.

Begin with an Assessment

It all begins with a simple one week assessment. There's no commitments outside of that. One of our consultants will drop into the environment. If you have a remote shop, that means dropping in on various team calls. If you have a hybrid schedule that means our consultant drops in on-site. The assessment is conducted in as unintrusive a manor as possible. In some cases, team members are invited to 1:1s to discuss their own perceptions of their work and any chronic blockers they encounter within the environment. Notes are taken and compiled into a report assessing the health of the environement.

Coaching

After the assessment report is created, we can work with you to develop a plan for getting our coaches into the environments where they can help you the most.
